Star Cement has setup grinding Units in Abu Dhabi and Ajman Which have a capacity of 1,200,000 tons and 1,000,000 tons respectively. The clinker plant in Ras Al khaimah has a capacity of 6500 TPD. Which are at the development and expansion stage.

The division’s current cargo movement fom Jebel ali / Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi and Ajman is around 6,000 TPD and until recently, Star Cement has been hiring heavy vehicles from other sources. In order to be self sufficient abnd to meet the market and customer demands, the division has purchased MAN, SCANIA, VOLVO & FOTON tractor units from Western Auto and Tipper units from Al-Shirawi for clinker transportation. It has been started off with a fleet of 25 heavy vehicles and is looking to add a number of vehicles to its current fleer once the clinker plant work in RAK is complete.
