STAR Cement Factory in Ajman was established in 1980 under a Royal Decree from the Supreme Council Member and the ruler of the Emirate of Ajman and is located in Ajman.
STAR Cement (LLC) took over the management of this plant in Dec 2001.The company prides itself on being able to meet superior quality parameters of BSEN & ASTM and by being in a position to procure high quality clinker from reputed and internationally known manufacturers. The grinding is done by Japanese technology under the supervision of professional management, which ensures high standard of operation. The unit has developed a quality system and safety policy to ensure high quality and safety standards. The plant has a production capacity of 1 million mt per annum, which is backed by a process control, that is, computerised and operated by 60 well-qualified and experienced personnel. The plant is producing:

· Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) confirming to BS 197 Part I: 2000 and ASTM C-150 (Type I). Class 52.5 N & 42.5 N.
· Moderate Sulphate Resisting Cement (SRC) conforming to ASTMC-150 1999 (Type II)
· High Sulphate Resisting Cement conforming to BS 4027 and ASTMC-150 (Type V)
 
The company prides itself on being able to meet superior quality parameters of BSEN & ASTM and by being in a position to procure high quality clinker in the world. The clinker is ground using UBE Industries Japan technology, well-trained staff with professional management and high standards of operation and maintenance.
 
 
Quality Control
Strict quality control of the process is achieved by a well-equipped laboratory comprising of modern X-ray analyser with high degree of accuracy producing high quality, durability, strength cement in the U.A.E.
 
 
Packing Modes
- 50 kg paper bags, loose stacked.
- 50 kg paper bags, palletized and shrink wrapped as per customer requirement.
- Bulk cement loading to inland tankers.
 
 
Production
STAR Cement has a production capacity of 900,000 MT per annum. The production line has flexibility to provide various types of cement. The process control is computerised and operated by well-qualified and experienced personnel.
